Alyssa's Play Group
We have had a busy week with Alyssa's friends! We hosted the play group last friday and eight of Alyssa's friends showed up to our house. We ate posole and chile (a new meal for most of the moms) and then Alyssa shared all of her toys. Here are some pictures of Alyssa and some of her friends.

After a couple of weeks of Alyssa watching Manuel and I eat and drink while reaching with intent to grab our food, we decided that Alyssa was ready to try some food of her own. So this past Monday she ate some rice cereal. She seemed to like it and has continued having a little each night since. Grandma Dolores was in San Diego and was able to witness the first bites. Alyssa also began rolling on a consistent bases ... I guess the cereal gave her the strength to move around! :) She is getting stronger each day and soon I will not be able to leave her alone for a minute!
